He Conveyed the Thanks & Support of Prince Saud Bin SultanKhalifi visits Rashid and emphasizes the continuity of giving

On the sidelines of the Rashid Center for the Disabled’s 20th anniversary celebration and the honoring of H.R.H. Prince Saud bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Secretary General of Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud Foundation,

in recognition and honor of the support of H.R.H. the late Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, may Allah have mercy his soul, to the center, H.E Mr. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al Khalifi, Director General of Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud Foundation, visited Rashid Center for the Disabled, accompanied by H.E. Mr. Mansour bin Zaid Al-Mahmoud, director of the Office of H.R.H the Secretary General of the Foundation and H.E. Mr. Sultan Al Ghaith, the Public Relations representative of Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud Foundation, where they were greeted by Mrs. Mariam Othman, Director General of Rashid Center for the disabled.

 H.E. Al Khalifi conveyed to Mrs. Othman the greetings, deep thanks and gratitude of H.R.H Prince Saud bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz on the good hospitality, reception and the honoring, expressing his pride in the success of the centre’s celebration. H.E. Khalifi & the Delegates then toured in some sections of the center and its classes to have a closer look at its therapeutic, rehabilitative and training programs, which benefits about 300 students, of different nationalities and ages, where he had met some of the centre’s students     

H.E. Khalifi expressed his happiness with the services provided by the centre to this endearing category, and  stressed the directives of H.R.H. Prince Saud bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Secretary General of Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud Foundation, of the necessity to support the center and its programs and to strengthen the relations between the Center and the Foundation in the future.

Mrs. Mariam Othman, on her part, expressed her deep gratitude for the honor of the presence of H.R.H. Prince Saud bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Secretary General of Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud Foundation, during the 20th Anniversary celebration, and heartfelt thanks to the visit of HE Khalifi to look closely at the programs and the future ambitions of the center. Mrs. Othman confirmed the depth of the historical relationship between the center and the foundation, especially after the support of H.R.H. Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, "may Allah have mercy on his soul " for the Rashid Center for the Disabled and the generous donation of 10 million Dirhams helped rescuing the center during its slump where about of which about 5 million Dirhams are was endowed to support the centre's projects as permanent and ongoing charity, and without his generous donation the center’s journey would have ended and its steps would have faltered.
