DUBAI: Rashid Centre for the Disabled in Dubai has became the first facility in the UAE to be equipped with an indoor navigation technology for the visually impaired. The development is in the line with the bid to make Dubai a friendly city for people with special needs by 2021.
DUBAI: Art Without Frontiers, an exhibition by Maite Defruc, a renowned Spanish artist to support Rashid Centre for the Disabled, kicked off at the Dubai Creek and Golf Club.
In a colourful ceremony, a book titled Glimpses of Tweets by Mohammed Bin Rashid on Humanity was launched as students from the Rashid Centre for the Disabled staged various performances.
Dubai International Art Symposium’s (DIAS) will have its second showcase this year. On Wednesday it was announced by Rashid Centre for Disabled.
